When compiling thick book catalogs, bidding proposals, or annual directories, perfect binding (glue binding) requires a cover with precise spine coordinates. If the spine width is off by even 1mm, the bound cover will warp, shift, or crease. Calculating page counts against paper weight is complex and error-prone.

This tool utilizes a physically modeled GSM paper-to-thickness library. Simply input your PDF page count and select paper stock (e.g. 80 GSM offset, 100 GSM glossy). The engine calculates spine width down to micrometers and compiles a print-ready, extra-wide cover PDF complete with standard front/back flaps and precise fold mark creases.
